Among Piedmont’s neighborhoods most popular address is City Center. City Center is home to one of Piedmont’s main thoroughfares, Oakland Avenue, which runs from the neighborhood south into Oakland. Other transportation arteries in the city include Grand Avenue, which runs along the western border; Moraga Avenue, which runs near the northern border; and Highland Avenue, which cuts the city into upper and lower halves.
